First impressions are fairly important - we can all agree here, right?Well I’m sure if you ask Pat the story will be different (and maybe change every time you ask him.) But to make a long story short Pat and I met when he asked me to model for him. The above photo is one he took during that shoot. From the start Pat and I connected over our love for Lupe Fiasco and Jay Zalong with our sarcasm and searing wit. He also took me to experience my first chicken wing (I know, I know) that same day. Although kicking it with Pat (and Josh, who also came along) I honestly didn’t really expect to see him on a regular basis, much less work with him.But as you already know, that exactly what has happened. And if I’m being honest, I have to attribute it to it being the Lord’s purpose to have Pat in my life. He and I quickly learned characteristics about one another after we shot our first wedding together that would prove to be obstacles we’d have to learn to deal with if we were going to continue to work together. After breaking that down (over a significant amount of time apart) it’s been easy to do both business and just regular life with one another. I continue to learn day in and day out with Pat that communication is key - using your voice face to face especially, even when you typically communicate through a lens.
